It's funny how I never really travel anywhere, and then I drive to two different cities within 5 days.
Since Friday was our anniversary, Todd took me on a trip to San Antonio for the weekend. We had great meals, got to sleep in, and took romantic strolls on the River Walk and around downtown San Antonio. It was a great weekend.
Tyler and I packed up the car and left on Monday morning to go and visit some friends in Dallas. Amanda and Abigail came too! It was a new adventure to go on a road trip with two babies in the backseat. Tyler did a great job of traveling back and forth, sleeping in a different bed, and sharing toys with new friends. I was very proud of my little travel companion.

It was fun to get out and see the "world," but there's nothing like being back home and sleeping in your own bed after being away for awhile. I think Tyler is still recuperating. He's been taking really long naps the last two days!

You forgot to tell about the part when Abigail screamed for hours in the backseat! Thanks for putting up with us! Tyler was a wonderful example of how a little one should act in the car. Thanks for the fun trip!!
