Tyler had success on the potty seat two times the first day....one time the second day....no success today, the third day. Isn't it supposed to be going the other way around?
In his defense, today was not a normal day at home. We went to play at a friend's house for two hours this morning, went to the library, came home for 30 minutes to eat lunch, and had to leave again so our house could show. He napped, had dinner, and it was time for bed! Fast day! I hope tomorrow is a little more normal so we can get some good practice in. I'm not giving up on him yet!
Moral of day 3: It's more difficult to potty train when your house is on the market.

I'm so glad you had a showing!
Don't worry, you'll get there. Someday he'll figure it all out and take himself potty all by himself... and the only way you'll know he went is because his pants are on backwards. It's the most amazing thing! But then the flip side is that you will be out running errands and as soon as you near the bathroom area, he'll all of a sudden "need to go" - even though you don't think he does, but should you chance it - the mind game continues ; )
I love the daily postings on potty training!
Hey! Amanda directed me to your blog. We are attempting this whole potty training thing too. Have you gone to undies yet? Nate will go on the potty all day, but he goes in his diaper too!
How nice it is to know I'm not in this alone. We tried undies the first day and it was a disaster I'm still recovering from. I'm sticking to pull-ups for awhile! It sounds like Nate's doing much better than Tyler if he's going in the potty all day long! What's your secret?
