Tyler informed me the other day that he no longer wants to play outside or go to the playground. That way, he won't have to wash his hands anymore when he comes back inside.
He has a favorite spoon. Every day he checks the drawer to see if his favorite spoon is clean and available. The days it is in the dishwasher are very sad days. This morning, the favorite spoon was clean and in the drawer, but Tyler decided he wasn't going to use it anymore. This way, it won't get dirty and it will always be there when he wants it.

That sounds like my brother, who slept on the floor with a quilt for a year so he wouldn't have to make his bed.
He really is thinking through his little world. But, his "toddler" reasoning is not as bizarre as his "teenage" reasoning will be!
I bet he'll be just as loveable to us anyway.
