This year was Allie's first Easter! I remember being very pregnant last year and wishing she were out to celebrate with us. How fun it was to see her all dressed up in her Easter dress. Tyler did a good job explaining to Allie why we celebrate Easter. He told his little sister all about how Jesus died on the cross and rose from the tomb on the 3rd day. Now Jesus is in Heaven! What a wonderful reason to celebrate.
Even though Easter is not about the baskets, they are still a fun part of our celebration. I enjoyed putting two little baskets together this year!

After church we headed to Nana and Grandpa's house for lunch and an egg hunt just for Tyler!

When we got home, he was excited to try out the big boy Lego set that came in his basket from Nana. He looks so cute concentrating on his work.
On Saturday, we decorated some eggs. Allie just watched this time around.
