Tyler did really well on his first bike ride! We were out for almost an entire hour. He only fell off once when he took a corner too fast. After that, all the turns were extra slow. He can get off and on all on his own and he got good at stopping when he needed to. He was so confident on that big bike.
The next time we went out, a couple days later, he fell off more often. Each time he fell off, he lost more confidence. Unfortunately, it's really hard for me to push the stroller with Allie in it and be there to catch Tyler when he starts to fall. He hasn't wanted to ride the bike much now. Daddy has gone out with him a couple of times. It helps because Todd can devote all of his attention to Tyler without having to worry about pushing the stroller too. Hopefully Tyler will get his confidence back again and enjoy riding his cool new bike as much as he did the first day. He was so cute on it and so proud of himself.
