On Sunday, September 12th, Todd and I were involved in the dedication ceremony to commemorate the consecration of Allison and ourselves to the Lord. In doing so, we recognized that she is our precious gift from God and as her parents we have the responsibility to prepare her for life. We affirmed that the most important preparation for life involves her relationship to God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of this, we committed to model what a Christ follower is, to pray for her regularly, and to instruct and guide her in her understanding of what Christ followers believe.
We look forward to the day when she makes the decision to trust in Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
We were blessed to have all the grandparents there to support and encourage us in our role as parents and to celebrate this special day with Allie.
