Easter!

Easter was super fun at the Perry house! We really enjoyed celebrating the resurrection of Jesus together!

On Friday, Tyler got to dye his first eggs ever. I was a little bit concerned that this would turn out as a messy mistake. All the little kits say ages 5 and up. But, I decided my Tyler could handle it as an almost 3 year old. He did really well! It only took one cracked egg to realize that you can't squeeze them too hard and we didn't have any spilled dye, so I was a happy mommy. Tyler was so careful the whole time.

On Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt and potluck lunch with our friends from church. Tyler also got to hear the Easter story and make a neat craft! He was a lot quicker about picking up all his Easter eggs this year! He was thrilled to discover that some of his eggs actually had jellybeans inside!

On Sunday morning, Tyler found his Easter basket and even got to open a present from Grandma.
He got to open Allie's present for her too, since she wasn't available to open it yet.

After that, we went to church and Tyler got to stay in "big church" with Mommy and Daddy. He sat really nicely and even sang some of the songs. After church we got to go to Nana and Grandpa's house for a yummy lunch!

Tyler discovered a little pile of Easter goodies just for him. One of the things he got were some games! He beat us in his first game of Candy Land.

Uncle Mike hid some eggs for Tyler and there was money inside! How exciting it was to take his money to Target and pick out a toy with it!

It was a happy, happy Easter! I am so excited about next year when I get to dress my TWO little ones in coordinating outfits! Can't wait!
