Pumpkin Patch 2011

It was time to go to the Pumpkin Patch again! Tyler and I have been going for 5 years already. The first 3 years, we drove to Cypress so we could do the pictures with friends. Last year, we drove with Nana and Grandpa, as I was afraid to take two kiddos all on my own. Still, we drove to Cypress because it had already become tradition to take the pictures at that particular pumpkin patch (voted one of the top ones in Houston!). This year, the drive was a quick 10 minutes from our house! Since we were so close, Todd was able to join us for the first time. Todd came home from work earlier then normal (he should do that every night!) and we headed to the pumpkins at 5:30. All the other years we had gone in the morning, so this was new for me. Next year, I will have to remember to wait a little later. The sun was right at that level when it's shining in your eyes and it's hard to smile! Tyler was a really good sport and sat nicely for all of his pictures. I think it was his most cooperative year since his first time there, before he could walk. Allie, on the other hand, was not happy to be at the pumpkin patch. She wanted to be at home finishing up her late afternoon nap. I just kept clicking away anyway. I managed to get a few cute ones, but not many big smiles. Every year is so different from the one before. I wonder what next year at the pumpkin patch will hold for the Perry family?

"Can we go home now?"
