Allie has been a busy girl the last couple of days!
Since she never crawls on her knees, I decided to see if she would want to follow Tyler through his tunnel. Maybe the confined space would give her the urge to crawl. Success! It worked. Now she crawls through over and over again, each time more coordinated and faster. When she gets to the end, up she goes to scoot on her bottom, but it is a start! She has also been crawling to get things if I start her off on her knees and hang around right by her.
The crawling first happened on Tuesday. Today, two days later, she has been saying "Mama" all day long. I even caught that on video! So fun! I have to admit that it's not her first word, though. She has been saying Tyler (I-ler) for a couple of weeks now. I shouldn't be surprised. He is her favorite person.
This surge of new things has been so much fun!
Speaking of new things, she has also been really into playing pat-a-cake, often starting it up on her own. She also loves to play ball and roll it back and forth to Mommy or Tyler. This is a super-fun age for her!
