It's been awhile since I have done a post just about my Tyler. It's easy to get caught up in all of Allie's new baby milestones, but Tyler is the cutest big brother around and he needs his fair share of blog time too!
He has really been into big brother mode lately. He is always asking if he can play with Allie. He doesn't want to eat breakfast or lunch until Allie is ready to eat with him at the same time. He loves feeding her Cheerios and green beans. I haven't offered to let him try the spoon feeding yet, but he is great at putting a one Cheerio at a time on Allie's tray! Yesterday, he even pushed her in the swing at the park.
Tyler went through a period of boundary testing over the past year, but it seems like he is getting over it now. Everyday he is more agreeable and obedient. It is SO NICE! I have really enjoyed his company. Tyler is full of imagination and has a big sense of humor too.

This morning he was telling me that Allie told him what she wants for her birthday. When I asked him what it was, he revealed that she wants a football and a dinosaur. I told him I was surprised she would want those things because they sound like presents a boy would want. And Tyler informed me that she wants the kind for girls...the ones with bows on them. Silly, silly boy.
He also told me the other day that we should have more kids in our family because we have extra seats in the minivan. He wants to have one more boy and one more girl and he gets to be the biggest brother of all of them. I told him that it's good to have extra seats so you have room for friends. When he's a daddy, he's going to have 10 kids. I suggested that he make sure to share that before he proposes to anyone.
Here he is burning off energy at the park. Nothing like a big, empty field all to yourself on a pretty day!

Tyler you crack me up! Oh how I love you. I will be on the lookout for a dinosaur with a pink bow for Allie. Thanks for the idea!
I can see why your mommy is so proud of you. What a wonderful big brother you are.
I look forward to all those great grandchildren :)
Love, Nana
