I can't believe we are in the 2nd week of November and I haven't finished writing about Halloween stuff yet. I am way too far behind!
Tyler and Todd carved their 2nd annual jack-o-lantern together. This year Tyler got bored more quickly, and told Daddy that he could go ahead and finish it. Poor Todd was left all alone to work on his pumpkin. I think he still enjoyed it though.
Since we were out of town when our church did their fall festival this year, we visited the fall festival at a nearby church instead. Tyler had a lot of fun, but we missed having our friends to talk with while we waited in line to do the games. Tyler was really good at all the inflatables because he and Nana had recently done them all at the jump house place while we were away. Tyler said that he didn't need any help at all because Nana already showed him how to do everything. He also did some fun games, had a snow cone, and got to ride on a pony. Allie nicely watched everything from her stroller, without complaint.
up, up, up he goes
This was Tyler's first year to go trick-or-treating door to door on our street. He followed a couple of our neighbors around, and it didn't take long for him to catch on to how it all worked. He was running from door to door and we were having trouble keeping up with him!
After he got done with our street, he enjoyed sitting in the driveway with Todd to pass out candy while Mommy got Allie ready for bed.
