Practicing

I borrowed my dad's fancy Nikon SLR digital camera this week so that I can practice using it and hopefully take some really cool shots at the pumpkin patch next week. It's difficult to learn a big fancy camera to begin with, but it doesn't help when it's really rainy outside and dark in the house. These are the best I have come up with so far, which means it's good I still have most of next week for more practice!

This picture cracks me up because I asked them to smile before I took it, and they both made their eyes squinty at the same time. I think Casey was just falling asleep. It looks so funny though!
I'm hoping to practice shooting outside this weekend when the sun comes back to us!

Tyler has been doing some practicing of his own. Every now and then, I have been letting him eat at the table, in his booster chair, instead of in his high chair. It is a special treat for him because it's new and exciting. He feels all grown up when he gets to eat lunch with Mommy at the big table. He looks much older too. I haven't taken any pictures because my kitchen table usually has a pile of miscellaneous junk pushed to the side we aren't using. I don't think it would look very attractive in the pictures. I will clean off my junk and then take some cute pictures of the big boy chair.

He talks a lot more when he's at the big table, and he eats more neatly. It's almost like he is trying to be more grown up because of his location. It's really cute to watch.

He's growing up so fast. I love the picture of Tyler and Casey too. It put a smile on my face. Thanks.
