Tomorrow's the day we are heading to the pumpkin patch! Hopefully it won't be too wet from the cold front coming through. I am really excited about going again. Since I didn't have a blog last year at this time, I have to take a moment to share some of my favorite pictures from last year at the pumpkin patch. Don't they just put you in an autumn mood? These are among my favorites of all the pictures I took during his first year (and there were many). It was a special time for me. He was just starting to sit up on his own, so I had to take the pictures quickly for fear that he'd fall over if I took too long. It was also his first time to wear tiny little blue jeans. I remember being so excited to put my little boy in a pumpkin patch with blue jeans and a t-shirt. It reminded me of a picture on a calendar or in a greeting card. This year it will be fun to compare them and look in amazement at how much he has grown and changed. I'll still have to take the picture quickly, but this time it will be for fear that he'll run away if I take too long.

These have always been some of my favorites. The last one is the picture of Todd at this age and just makes me smile.
