He actually took over. Anytime I would like to clean the floor, he gets upset if he can't do it instead. I'll have to do stealth cleaning while he's napping...

How cute! It'd be nice if he still likes helping at age 10 :).
oh, i'd encourage it. shorten the handle by removing a piece and let him "go to town"...i'm with cora, it would be nice if he continues to like helping. :)
