Allie's Little Chip

Allie has become really good at walking, even running, but she also falls down a lot. Unfortunately, she is top heavy and usually hits the ground face first. This is what happened two days ago when she fell on the tile and hit with her mouth. There was crying and blood from her swollen little lip. I didn't even notice until the next day that she had chipped her front tooth too. I am so sad that Allie's pretty smile has been damaged.

I took her to the pediatric dentist to get it checked out and make sure there was no further tooth trauma. He smoothed it out for her and said that the x-rays showed no other problems. She did not like her mouth being messed with, and the whole office got to hear about it. My poor baby.

The new house has even more tile. I hope she learns to be more stable before we make the move. Of course, at the rate we're going, she has LOTS of time :)

Her smile is still absolutely beautiful and still melts her Nana's heart. No tiny chip could possibly change that.
