At 10 months old, my little girl can do so many sweet things.
She can blow kisses, give hugs (by moving her head back and forth on you) and slobbery kisses, bounce up and down and squeal to let you know when she's excited or when she sees something she wants, talks to herself in the mirror, and smiles a lot - both pretty smiles and cute, cheesy grins.

She can also feed herself pieces of food really well and drink from her sippy cups with just a little tipping help. Cheerios are her most favorite food. She'd probably eat them all day long if I let her. She still splashes wildly in the bathtub, but is calming down a little bit. And thankfully, she has stopped trying to poop in the tub at every bath! Mostly my baby girl loves to use her voice. She is pretty much always shrieking and talking in all of her baby babble language.
Allie can stand up, holding onto something for support. She doesn't pull up on her own, but will stay standing after I stand her up. She is getting into everything and exploring the entire house (all while scooting on her bottom). No longer can I fold a basket of laundry beside her while she plays nicely with her toys. She takes off or pulls all of my piles apart so that she can roll around in them. When I go in to get her out of bed, she is always sitting up and bouncing. Sometimes she sits up before she falls asleep and then falls asleep sitting up and folded in half. Todd and I often go in to check on her and make sure she is laying down during her naps. It looks so painful to sleep folded in half, but she doesn't even complain.

Here she is playing on her phonebook bench that the occupational therapist recommended.
She has really become attached to a little lovey already. There is a little, soft bunny that rattles and she sleeps with him for all of her naps and at night. If she is upset, we can give her the bunny and she calms right down and gets cuddly. We don't use pacifiers anymore because she actually prefers the little bunny. She sucks on the ears as if they were a pacifier. The sad thing is that the little bunny got a hole in his face last time I washed him. It's not on a seam or anything, so I'm not sure he can be fixed. I guess I need to stock up on more little bunnies and hope she's too young to notice if I switch them out. I think it's so sweet that she has a special toy. I had a bunny for my lovey when I was a little girl too.

Good job, Allie! I am jealous that you guys are through with pacis, even if we just use them at snooze times. That is funny about falling asleep sitting up. Alden sends love to both his cousins!
