Updates

At 29 weeks, I am well into my third trimester now. Things are going well! Besides sore feet, I really don't have any complaints at all.

Tyler keeps telling me that Allie might pop out. I think he's a little concerned that his mommy's tummy is getting bigger by the day. I assure him that she will not be popping out anytime soon.

He is so excited about his little sister. He enjoys going into her room, looking at her tiny clothes and giving her all his toys that are "for babies." It's funny to look in her room some days and see toys lined up that he has decided on his own to donate to his sister.

When we are out in public he enjoys telling people that he is going to have a baby sister. It warms my heart. I just love all the enthusiasm.

Tyler is also so independent these days. He will go potty all by himself without even mentioning a word about it to me. He does everything from pulling down his pants to emptying the bowl into the big potty and washing his own hands.

He can also scrape his own plate after meals, let the dog outside, put his own CD's in his CD player and choose the song he wants, put on his own pants or take off all of his own clothing, and wake up dry after a three hour nap!

He has tried to tell me that he doesn't need me now, but I always correct him and tell him that he doesn't need my help with as many things by he will always need me.
