This is my most favorite time of year for taking pictures. Those bright, orange pumpkins just seem to go perfectly with my little red-head. This was our third year to head out to the pumpkin patch for pictures.
I remember being so excited about putting my little 6 month old in jeans the first year. He had just started sitting up, and if I snapped the pictures quickly enough, I could get a good shot before he tipped over or tried to eat the hay.
Last year was much more tricky because he wouldn't stand still long enough to take a picture! Most of my shots were great profile views. It was hard to get his attention with so many neat things to look at!
But this year, he was as sweet as could be. I could simply ask him to sit on the pumpkin so Mommy could take a picture, and he would sit right down and give me a big smile.
He loved showing off the tiny pumpkin he had picked out for himself. Even after we brought it home, he carried it around everywhere. It goes with us to the mailbox, to brush his teeth, even to Grandma's house for the weekend.
I just love the memories of each year and seeing how much he has changed.

It was fun running into you at the zoo yesterday. When Kevin got home, Caroline was telling him about the zoo and exclaimed, "We saw Tyler!"
