We went to Galveston over a week ago, and I almost forgot to blog about it. I used to look forward to getting on the computer first thing when Tyler took his nap. This past week though, I have been looking more forward to getting a nap in while he's napping. Updating the blog became lower on the list. I have also not been quite so lucky with this baby and the whole "morning" sickness thing. I feel queasy off and on all day long. So again, I just haven't really felt like sitting at the computer. But today is a good day. I feel awake and my tummy is happy for the moment, so I thought I'd share these sweet pictures of my little beach boy with you...finally.
We were very happy that he wasn't into eating the sand this year.
We tried something different this year, and waited until after Tyler's nap to head to the beach instead of going first thing in the morning. It seemed to work out well. He played for two hours and then said, "Go home now." He promptly started gathering his things and putting his shoes on. So, we showered off and got as fixed up as you can when you're on the beach, and we headed to dinner. We had made reservations at The Rainforest Cafe because we thought Tyler would get a kick out of it. He did! We had to keep reminding him to eat because he was so busy watching everything that was going on. It was really fun. My personal favorite was the chocolate volcano we had for dessert. Yummy!
And because I am very into the whole comparing thing these days...

Love the pictures. The color and composition all look really pretty. Was that just a point and shoot camera or the nice one?
This is just my little Kodak Easy Share. I would be way too worried about the nice camera on the beach, especially since it's my dad's and not actually mine.
Tyler looks so grown up with the hat and sunglasses. It looks like you guys had a great time!
Those are great pictures of Tyler at the beach!!
