We decided to head to Tyler and visit Grandma and PaPaw for the Fourth of July weekend. It was really fun, and we got to do lots of cool things while we were there.
Tyler found out first thing that Grandma got him a new little table, just for him! It was all set up with new toys to play with. So fun! I'm sad that I never took a picture of him while he was playing with it.
On Saturday morning we all went to the lake down the road to watch Casey go swimming!
Casey loves to go swimming, but she doesn't ever get a chance to do it at home.
On the way back we stopped to feed the neighbor's pet donkey. They had a llama too, but he wasn't hungry and didn't want to leave his shady spot to say hi.
I also got to sit on a weird looking Harley and be a biker chic. That doesn't happen every day. I don't think I pulled it off very well, though. It probably would be more believable if we had sunglasses on....or at least shoes.
On Saturday night we went to Todd's aunt's lakehouse. It had a really pretty view. I found out Patrick Dempsey has a house on that same lake! It would have been cool if we saw him, but no such luck. Tyler got to stomp on some poppers - his first fireworks.
And no trip to Grandma and PaPaw's house is complete unless we get to hear PaPaw play his guitar!

were you at lake Jacksonville? I heard that he was out there and actually went to my friends house with some fireworks to give their kids...he was really nice to them!
What a fun trip!! I am so glad Casey had so much fun, too!
