A Memorable Weekend

This weekend Todd and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in Grapevine, TX. We were there for the Weekend To Remember marriage conference. If you have never been, I highly recommend it! It is a weekend marriage conference that teaches God's plan for marriage and family. I love to be reminded of things I can do to be the wife God intended me to be. It's fun and the speakers are hilarious. We stayed at the Gaylord Texan Resort. It was so beautiful! The whole thing was like an indoor Riverwalk, complete with fireworks at night! It was fun to have a few days to just focus on one another and not even have to worry about being Mommy and Daddy. Tyler was in great hands with Nana (who says she had more fun then we did)! It was the longest I have ever been away from Tyler, but it was nice to know I didn't have to worry about him at all. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

This is actually inside the hotel. Doesn't it look like the real Riverwalk?

This is me at our romantic dinner. Yes, we are still inside the hotel and it looks like outside!

These were taken in the hotel vineyard. It was very romantic to stroll through a vineyard.

I was impressed how they put the conference name in lights on the floor.

And of course, I have to include Tyler pictures...

Todd took today off too so he could still spend some time with Tyler this weekend. We went on a family bike ride this morning.

Oh, I've been to the Gaylord before. We saw the neat ice exhibit there and went to look at all the Christmas decorations inside w/ Brian's family once. They are said to have an amazing Easter brunch too.

For some reason, I thought you were staying at that new Lodge w/ the animated wolves on the commercial.
Glad you had fun. You should write about some of the stuff you learned.

What a beautiful resort! It really does look like the SA Riverwalk.
